KCC Group are looking for an organised, detail-oriented Coordinator to join our expanding service division team.
The primary responsibility will be to manage the scheduling and parts coordination for the field service team relating to Inspection, installation, and maintenance of fire doors.
The role requires strong communication skills and excellent time management.
Key Responsibilities: Scheduling and Coordination:Plan, schedule, and oversee the Inspection, installation and maintenance of fire doors at various sites.Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely execution of fire door installations and repairs.Monitor job progress and resolve scheduling conflicts, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.Maintain accurate schedules, databases, and records of all fire door installations, repairs, and inspections.Liaising with Clients:Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding fire door schedules.Address any queries or issues related to fire door projects.Ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring all projects are completed to the required standards and within agreed timelines.Inventory and Stock Management:Work with KCC Purchasing Team to ensure the necessary materials and parts for fire doors are available for scheduled work.Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution:Resolve any issues or delays in the schedule, coordinating with relevant teams to find solutions.Handle emergency scheduling requests as needed.Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience in scheduling, project coordination, or a related field (e.g., construction, facilities management).Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Proficiency in scheduling software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams.Knowledge of fire door installation, maintenance, and inspection practices.Experience working in the fire safety or construction industry.Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.Proactive and able to work under pressure.Strong problem-solving abilities.Customer-focused with the ability to manage client expectations.Reports To: Contracts Manager Service Division This role is critical in ensuring that fire doors are properly scheduled and maintained for compliance with safety regulations, helping to create a safer environment for all building occupants.
