Job Description:
Our client is an established specialist in cleanroom construction, HVAC services, heat recovery and carbon emission reduction projects, as well as general mechanical and electrical services.
Supported by the wider Project Management and Engineering teams, the Project Engineer will report to the Project Manager and will work on key projects, assisting in carrying the project through to successful completion.
1. Generating project schedules in conjunction with the project team
2. Preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports
3. Project engineering submissions and value engineering
4. Project procurement and materials management
5. Project build review and interaction with co-contractors
6. Designing in 3D using AutoCAD 3D software
7. Designing systems and components that meet needs and requirements
8. Conducting experiments methodically, analysing data and interpreting results
9. Test and evaluate theoretical designs
10. Evaluating final product’s overall performance, reliability and safety
11. Altering and modifying designs to meet requirements and eliminate malfunctions
12. Ensuring client satisfaction
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be organised and efficient, pay strong attention to detail, and be a good communicator.
1. Possess a relevant 3rd level qualification, at level 8 or above
2. Have a good level of knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit & BIM software systems
3. Have at least 3 years relevant work experience in a similar role
4. Have an interest in working within the Construction industry
5. Be comfortable in the use of Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate detailed monthly reports
6. Be conscientious, have excellent attention to detail, and an ability to multitask
7. Have a positive attitude with a passion to learn & succeed, an energetic approach, and an ability to take accountability
8. The ability to contribute comfortably as part of a team
9. Willingness and ability to travel within Ireland (essential)
