Revenue Accounting Manager
We are seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to join our CF R 7 SW team in Digital Industry Software. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with global revenue recognition standards and providing insightful information to our Management.
About the Role
This position will lead a team that oversees the accurate and timely recording of revenue transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The team provides financial analysis and reporting related to revenue and manages an automated revenue application that optimizes compliant accounting of business transactions as part of an end-to-end process.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide general guidance and oversight on transactions and related processes.
* Lead a team to ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue transactions.
* Manage an automated revenue application that optimizes compliant accounting of business transactions.
* Collaborate with colleagues in finance, order administration, IT, operations, and other accounting departments.
Requirements
* Qualified accountant with a minimum of 8 years relevant work experience in a similar accounting role.
* Experienced people manager with a minimum of 5 years management experience.
* Strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and business judgment with excellent attention to detail.
* Strong project management expertise paired with self-determination and strategic judgment.
* Prior experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is a plus.
