Our approach encompasses multiple aspects of tax solutions, from ideas to implementation, across tax services like compliance, business taxation, transactions, transfer pricing, international tax structuring, VAT, customs, tax management, research and development tax relief, personal tax advisory and compliance, human resource tax services, and foreign direct investment.
The tax practice is divided into four client service teams: Domestic and International Outbound (DIO), Financial Services (FS), Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), and Specialist Tax Services (STS).
This role is located at our Kilkenny office, requiring thrice-weekly work in the office.
As an Associate on the Corporate Tax Compliance team, you will support Directors, Managers, Senior Associates, and a wider team with Corporate Tax Compliance projects. You will assist in project operation and coordination, coach, and support a team for high-quality tax compliance services.
You will possess a good working knowledge of clients assigned to your team.
Responsibilities:
* Work on challenging corporation tax computations with opportunities to work on higher complexity cases across sectors and industries.
* Prepare VAT compliance and assist with VAT return reviews.
* Implement efficient models using optimal resource scheduling and process efficiency.
* Assist with training for new joiners and specialists team members.
* Collaborate with client engagement leads to deliver tax compliance services.
* Manage client relationships, interactions, and resolve queries and expectations.
* Familiarize yourself with digital transformation and proactively use technologies.
* Identify training needs and utilize digital tools for upskilling opportunities.
* Operate effectively with internal team members to create a collaborative environment.
* Bring tax technical and business knowledge, innovation, and insight to create value for clients and the firm.
* Contribute to a fun working environment and promote learning culture.
* Report to experienced senior team members.
