Upstream Bioprocess Scientist 2
We are seeking an Upstream Bioprocess Scientist to design, execute, and analyse experiments, with expertise in bench-scale bioreactors, upstream processing, and analytical techniques. In this role, you will collaborate with scientists, engineers, and project managers to deliver innovative solutions and high-quality results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mentor and guide junior staff, providing technical expertise and troubleshooting.
* Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
* Drive process and technology improvements.
* Take ownership of project work and contribute innovative ideas with support from senior scientists.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
* Expertise in bench-top bioreactor operation, optimisation, and scale-up.
* Experience with adherent and suspension cell lines.
* Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Education & Experience:
* PhD in biochemistry, biotechnology, process engineering, or related field with 1–2+ years of industry experience.
* Master’s degree with 3–4+ years of industry experience.
* Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of industry experience.
