Forklift Service Engineer/Mechanic
Team Horizon is seeking a Workshop Service Engineer/Mechanic for a leading Forklift/Warehouse equipment company based in West Dublin.

What you will be doing:
1. Finding, diagnosing, and rectifying faults on FLT’s as deemed necessary, ordering the necessary spare parts as efficiently as possible.
2. Adhering to all company H&S and Environmental policies and procedures and site policies, ensuring familiarity with the requirements of the current safety standards.
3. Ensuring time sheet data is accurate and up to date to allow smooth processing of all jobs.
4. Maintaining and updating the ERP system daily, closing out jobs once completed.
5. Liaising with the first line of management for authorisation of parts and processing order numbers accordingly.
6. Working under own initiative without constant supervision.
7. Ensuring all allocated work is adhered to and notifying the Team Leader / Controller if in arrears.
8. Following specified Engineering Standards and Safe Working Practices and all Company Policies and Procedures at all times.
9. Ensuring all stock levels/movement records are accurate and correct.
10. Keeping all company issued equipment in a satisfactory condition.
11. Taking on any additional duties as required by the Team Leader / Controller to ensure smooth running of the departmental function.
12. Performing any other duties which arise as a result of the above.
What you need to apply:
1. Qualified maintenance engineer (National Craft Certificate) in relevant discipline or industry experience.
2. Excellent customer service skills.
3. A high level of communication with the ability to communicate effectively via telephone and email.
4. Impeccable attention to detail and IT Skills (Microsoft Office suite).
5. Ability to maintain and achieve monthly targets and goals.
6. Energetic, motivated, and pro-active team player.
