Senior Business Analyst M&A/Service Transition Contract 6 Months
Our client, a leading global firm, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Business Analyst to work on multiple projects for an initial 6-month period with potential for longer-term engagement.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the client's existing M&A capability and capacity, supporting their strategic priority for growth within the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in investigating, analyzing, reviewing, and documenting business functions and processes to ensure seamless transition of acquired businesses and applications into the client's business.
* Take a leading role in integrating acquired businesses into the client's operations, including system re-branding requirements, data migrations, and development of test plans to support the integration process.
* Support the capture and detailing of existing application and digital estates of acquisition targets, including in-depth investigation and subsequent reporting and highlighting of security risks and remediation activities needed to ensure compliance with the client's standards.
* Analyze business operations and processes to identify areas for improvement, working with stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, and develop business strategies and plans to enhance business performance, including cost reduction, process improvement, and revenue growth.
Requirements
* Experience with high-level and detailed requirements definition, comparing the current state with the potential future state (as-is vs. to-be).
* Knowledge of one of the client's core business systems (Acturis, Stingray, CDL Open TWINS, Relay, IBAIBA & Global XBXB) would be advantageous.
* Understanding of the Insurance business from broking, claims processing, and IBAIBA functions would be beneficial.
* Experience of system decommissions, data migrations, and testing would also be useful.
* Knowledge of one or more formal project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall/Agile).
