Job Title: Maintenance/Facilities Manager
Maintaining a high level of service delivery, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to regulations are the core responsibilities of this role. The ideal candidate will oversee the maintenance department, manage contracts, grounds, health & safety, and equipment in accordance with established guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams for IT development programme implementation
* Manage performance and maintenance of buildings, including mechanical & electrical services
* Participate in new development projects and prepare annual buildings and maintenance plans
* Ensure contract works are managed in line with H&S policies/procedures & construction regulations
* Chair meetings and committees, prepare reports, estimates, specifications, and drawings
* Carry out Risk Assessments, audits, and fire safety
* Prepare budgetary plans for infrastructural works, procurement, and purchasing of materials
Requirements:
* 3rd Level/Apprenticeship in IT, Electrical/Mechanical trade OR Engineering/Surveying/Facilities/Chartered Surveyors
* At least 7 years experience in mechanical/electrical/engineering management of large buildings
* Experience in management of operational budgets
* Management of multidisciplinary trades & technical teams
* Experience in implementation of Planned Maintenance programmes
* Experience working with building service systems, technologies i.e. UPS units, AHU's, water treatment systems
* Valid Safe Pass or equivalent required
Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience
