O’Toole Composting Ltd is a family-run business established in 2005. We operate a compost facility in addition to operating a civic amenity site. We also provide skip hire services to public and business customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of weekly & monthly reports
2. Ensure monthly reconciliations are performed in a timely manner
3. Manage inventory movements
4. Ad hoc reports and duties
5. Work with finance team to ensure delivery of key targets for all areas of the business.
6. Cover the duties of the receptionist when he/she is not available, including interacting with customers and taking phone calls
7. Posting of purchase invoices and reconciling to creditors statements
8. Printing and posting of debtor statements monthly and making phone calls where necessary to follow up outstanding balances
The ideal candidate will have the following:
1. Accounts Admin experience an advantage, but not mandatory as full training is provided
2. Has existing or working towards a recognised accounting qualification (Accounting technician and/or Bookkeeping)
3. Must have a good understanding and be conversant in Finance terminology
4. Excellent numerical skills
5. Good verbal and written English
6. Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other computer skills
7. Experience with SAGE or other equivalent accounting packages preferable
