Fexco Aviation Services Ltd. are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team in Shannon, Co. Clare on a full-time permanent basis. The role will have the flexibility to work a hybrid model after the initial on site training period has been completed. Company Profile: Based in Shannon, Co. Clare, Fexco Aviation Services Ltd. The Company provides complete general ledger accounting, financial reporting and analysis, daily transaction processing, cash management and company secretarial services. The co-ordination of other external services such as audit, tax and legal advice is also provided. Main Responsibilities: Managing client relationships Preparation / Review of monthly cash reports Preparation / Review of budgets / forecasts Calculation of monthly payments Preparation / review of accounting information for a number of big ticket leasing entities. Review and filing of annual accounts and submissions. Preparation of quarterly board papers to tight deadlines and attendance at board meetings Approval of payments to third parties Monitoring compliance with corporate formalities and operative agreements Drafting Board minutes Supervising and mentoring junior staff Special projects as required Qualifications / Experience Required: Qualified ACA/ACCA with 3 - 5 years PQE Previous experience in a similar role with good working knowledge of accounting information. Aircraft Leasing experience an advantage PC literate with excellent excel skills and knowledge of Oracle Financials Understanding of IFRS, with US GAAP an advantage Knowledge of detailed consolidation accounting principles Competencies Required: The successful candidate is likely to have: Excellent interpersonal / communication skills essential Ability to work within tight operating deadlines The successful candidate is likely to be: Highly motivated and able to work under own initiative Ambitious, proactive and a team player Skills: Financial Accounting ACCA
