The Opportunity The purpose of the role is to assist in the development and steering of the Enterprise Portfolio Strategy with a primary focus on Enterprise property and liability business.
You will also be required to support other Portfolio Steering team initiatives as required.
Additionally, building strong relationships and communicating effectively with all of your team is a key part of this role.
This role is a hybrid role and can be fulfilled mainly remotely, with attendance in the office agreed in advance on an occasional basis for Enterprise team meetings, training, workshops and ad hoc collaborative meetings.
Role Responsibilities Input into Annual Corporate Planning & Quarterly Re-Forecasting Process Monitor portfolio performance and emerging trends and actively observe external developments that may impact on our business Monthly/Quarterly Reporting, Analysis & Actions Involvement in Product Segmentation Reviews as required Scheme opportunity assessment in collaboration with other Portfolio areas, e.g.
Pricing & Technical Serve as escalation point for Commercial Pricing Referrals Input into future CTP development Support the Portfolio Steering Team on other initiatives/tasks as required Develop and maintain strong working relationships within the team, other areas of the business and external stakeholders Commitment to work towards relevant Allianz Group accreditation Essential Experience A recognised insurance qualification (APA, CIP, ACII or FCII) A minimum of 3 years general property or liability insurance Demonstrates strong commercial awareness and an appreciation of the interdependencies between your work and what's happening in the organisation, the industry and the wider economy.
Shows solid judgement, including experience serving as an escalation point in respect of technical queries Desirable Experience A relevant third level qualification Regulatory Notice **This role is subject to Minimum Competency Code ("MCC") as provided for by the Central Bank of Ireland.
A recognised insurance qualification may be required for this position.
Appointment to this role will be subject to the requirements provided for by the Central Bank of Ireland.
This role is a Control Function (CF-4) and is subject to F&P Standards.
This includes the requirements provided for by the Central Bank (Individual Accountability Framework) Act 2023.
