Job Specification Title: Procurement Specialist My client, a leading retail/distribution company with operations nationwide.
They are currently recruiting for a Procurement and Contract specialist for their headquarters in Dublin 3.
The Job: Ensure cost-effective, and compliant procurement and contracting, minimising risk while maintaining quality and safety.
Manage key contracts throughout their lifecycle, from strategy and tendering to negotiation, implementation, and performance monitoring.
Support supplier selection, prequalification, and bidding/awarding processes Maintain accurate contract documentation for audit readiness, strategic planning, and risk mitigation.
Build strong internal and external relationships, and fostering collaboration.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies based on market intelligence, spend analysis, and business needs.
Oversee vendor performance, manage relationships Prepare and manage tender processes, contract documents, and stakeholder communications The Person: Degree in Business, Law, Supply Chain, or related field, with 10+ years in sourcing, contracting, and commercial management, preferably in Oil & Gas or Retail.
Additional qualifications in Contracting & Commercial Management are advantageous.
Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and managing rated and fixed-price contracts, settlements, and supplier agreements.
Strong knowledge of Commercial Contract Law.
Strong commercial acumen, negotiation expertise, and market research capabilities across various goods and services categories.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Advanced contract drafting skills, knowledge of procurement systems (P2P), and proficiency in MS Office.
