Job Responsibilities
1. Over 10 years of experience in Accessibility testing for Web and Mobile based applications.
2. Evaluate Mobile apps, websites, and applications to ensure they are accessible to people with disabilities.
3. Understand and implement Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and other relevant accessibility standards.
4. Document and report accessibility issues, providing detailed information about the nature and location of the problem.
5. Collaborate closely with development teams to rectify accessibility issues.
6. Conduct usability testing with individuals with disabilities to gather qualitative data.
7. Stay up-to-date with technology advancements and accessibility legislation.
8. Provide recommendations and solutions to improve the accessibility of digital content.
9. Prefer working in the banking domain and lead the accessibility-testing project for online or mobile banking.
10. Create and maintain comprehensive reports about the accessibility status of tested products.
11. Familiarity with WCAG standards and conducting accessibility audits.
12. Strong knowledge of assistive technologies (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver).
13. Deep understanding of accessibility non-functional requirements.
14. Added advantage if knowledge of NFRs and non-functional testing.
