Trainee Service Advisor
An exciting opportunity to learn the foundations of excellent customer service in the automotive industry while gaining the skills needed to progress into a full-Service Advisor role.
Responsibilities:
* Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, both face-to-face and over the phone.
* Assist customers with booking service and repair appointments.
* Support the preparation and explanation of job cards, estimates, and invoices.
* Communicate with workshop staff to ensure accurate information is relayed to customers.
* Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicles.
* Promote additional services, maintenance plans, and seasonal offers.
* Handle customer queries and resolve minor issues under guidance from senior staff.
* Maintain accurate customer records and data entry using dealership systems.
Requirements:
* A strong interest in the motor industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Confident and professional telephone manner.
* Eagerness to learn and develop within a customer-focused environment.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
* BASIC IT skills (Microsoft Office, etc.).
* A positive, proactive attitude and team-player mindset.
