Overview:
Orange Recruitment is seeking experienced and skilled Occupational Therapists to join various teams across Dublin and South Dublin.
The successful candidates will work with individuals of all ages to help them develop, recover, or maintain the skills necessary for daily living and working.
The role involves assessing patient needs, creating individualized therapy plans, and providing hands-on support to improve patients' functional abilities.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to help patients achieve their progress goals.
Provide therapeutic interventions to assist patients with tasks of daily living.
Educate patients and their families on techniques to support independence and improve function.
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists, speech therapists, and physicians, to develop integrated treatment plans.
Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to therapy plans as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and progress notes.
Stay updated with occupational therapy practices, research, and treatment techniques.
Advocate for patient needs and ensure they receive necessary resources and support.
REQUIRED:
Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU before employment.
Annual registration: 1.
On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU 2.
Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to the organisation.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the State.
