Job Summary
The Skip Scheduler is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of orders in our database and scheduling skip deliveries and collections to ensure high customer satisfaction in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
* Scheduling skip collections and deliveries from our skip management system.
* Scheduling skip driver workloads for current and next day, communicating orders to drivers, and managing payment collection.
* Maintaining an ongoing and recurring order database.
* Processing phone and email orders and payments.
* Resolving customer and internal queries.
* Communicating with the Sales Department to advise on delivery/collection times.
* Following up with customers and drivers to confirm skip collection dates and scheduling collection dates and times.
* Identifying and addressing discrepancies.
Requirements:
* 1-2 years of experience in phone sales and administration.
* Good geographical knowledge of Connaught and surrounding areas.
* Able to handle multiple phone lines confidently and possess a courteous and pleasant phone manner, with strong customer rapport.
* Proficient in computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Strong organizational skills.
* A team player able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Effective communication skills.
