Scope and Impact
* Manage performance and team health for direct reports
* Own the delivery and business impact of full or part of a product
Communication
* Communicate with all levels in the company and adjust content to the audience as necessary
* Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into accessible information
* Articulate clearly the business requirements, project scope and individual responsibilities to the team and support accurate prioritisation across the team
* Communicate the overall team goals, product objectives, and company vision to ensure every team member understands their role in achieving them
* Take ownership of various tasks and direct the team in choosing the best possible action
* Establish regular feedback loops to provide feedback to team members and receive insights for continuous improvement
* Facilitate regular team meetings, one-on-one discussions, and feedback sessions to maintain open lines of communication, address concerns, and provide guidance
Collaboration
* Recognised as a POC for support, conflict resolution and confidence within the team
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and demonstrate ability to influence and overcome challenges with relationships maintained
* Establish strong working relationships with leaders from other departments (product, design, QA) to ensure seamless collaboration throughout the product development lifecycle
* Work with the team to define project scope and requirements

Leadership
* Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support professional growth
* Establish clear performance expectations, goals and KPIs for the team
* Proactively address team health concerns and owning actions plans to assess and improve team health
* Responsible for the utilisation of direct and indirect reports, proactively raising and addressing over/under utilisation to support career development and team efficiency
* Ensure appropriate training and development of team to support growth
* Identify performing outliers and proactively highlight to senior management to ensure and drive appropriate development plan
* Identify potential risks, dependencies and challenges early, working with the team to mitigate them and develop contingency plans
* Contribute to hiring and resourcing strategy and process
Technical
* Demonstrated ability to own and lead High level architecture and end-end design of a product
* Identify and have mitigation plans for technical risks to delivery in collaboration with Product
* Assess Business impact of delivery
* Responsible for Successful Component delivery and plan end-end delivery and handover
* Ensure Code quality for all managed products
* Iterative deployment plans and handover strategy
* Advanced Python Skills
* In-depth understanding of DS Modelling solution approaches and ability to assess impact from both from technical and business standpoint
* Active involvement in Technical reviews and PR Reviews
