Hotel Talent has an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Manager.
We are seeking a driven and operationally focused manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the hotel and help it achieve its financial targets.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Oversee all departments of the hotel.
* Assume full responsibility for operational management, financial performance, and sales & marketing activity.
* Maximise guest satisfaction and exceed expectations.
* Work closely with all departments to maximise service opportunities and increase revenues.
* Plan and operate within annual budget guidelines to ensure revenue is maximised and profitability is achieved.
* Develop a friendly and personable business relationship with clients, guests, and staff.
* Create a positive culture that promotes employee engagement, empowerment, and common goals.
* Be responsible for all business decisions within the hotel.
* Ensure excellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external interactions.
* Demonstrate professionalism and integrity at all times.
* Maintain effective communication structures.
* Train staff to competently complete duties and meet departmental standards and guest expectations.
* Work in a safe manner to ensure personal safety and the safety of employees and guests.
The Candidate:
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a General Manager/Deputy General Manager of an Irish Hotel Operation.
* Commercial focus.
* Highly motivated and driven to achieve targets.
* Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills.
* Excellent time management and organisation skills.
* Proven record of managing a team successfully to achieve results.
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of food, beverage, and conferencing.
* Good understanding of rooms operations.
