Job Description:
Manage time-bound customer-facing projects including project scope, strategy, schedule, resource planning, risks, dependencies, and close-out while driving clarity and minimizing complexity.
Develop relationships with key internal stakeholders within Customer Success, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to create coordinated project plans and align these plans with customer expectations.
Communicate clearly and effectively to customer management on the plans, status, and critical issues through desired communication channels, including Slack, web conferencing, and email, and in customers' preferred language(s) (where appropriate).
Escalate urgent issues appropriately and drive them to closure in a timely manner, working closely with customer project stakeholders as needed.
Support the establishment and adoption of project management frameworks, documentation, tools, KPIs, and best practices.
Identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to continuously improve our project management methodology, the tools we use, and how we communicate.
What we need:
1. 5+ years of relevant work experience as a customer-facing project manager or implementation manager for a SaaS company focused on the delivery of customer solutions.
2. Demonstrated history in project management and change management, working with large organizations with a proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, resources, and timeline; and in delivering results and value in a time-bound capacity.
3. The ability to develop and maintain a passion for the customer’s vision with our internal teams and to lead internal and customer stakeholders throughout the project journey.
4. Demonstrated experience working with 10-15 large enterprise-level customers at a time, where organizational complexity can introduce risk.
5. Strong analytical and communication skills with an ability to solve problems creatively in a collaborative and virtual environment.
6. Experience in proactively addressing project obstacles and have the willingness to go above and beyond to chase down loose ends that lead to successful project delivery.
