Regional Sales Manager (Measurement and Control Technology / Instrumentation)
Our client is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to establish and develop their presence in the Irish market. This role offers a unique opportunity for a driven sales professional to build the market from the ground up and grow alongside the company’s expansion in Ireland.
The company is a leading manufacturer of high-quality measurement and control technology, specialising in signal isolation, process analytics, and industrial interface solutions. Their innovative products are widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and chemical processing, ensuring precision, reliability, and safety in critical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Management & Business Development:
o Manage the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to closing deals, while ensuring excellent customer experience.
o Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
o Plan and participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events in coordination with the head office.
o Support existing clients and conduct product presentations independently.
o Work closely with senior management to develop sales strategies and explore new market opportunities.
2. Market Research & Strategy:
o Conduct market research to identify customer needs, emerging trends, and competitor activities.
o Provide insights and recommendations to refine sales strategies and business development efforts.
o Stay up to date on relevant industry developments in Ireland (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech, and chemical sectors) and adjust approaches accordingly.
3. Relationship Management & Growth:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including direct customers, EPCs, system integrators, and industry partners.
o Collaborate with internal teams to align sales efforts with overall business goals.
4. Financial & Demand Planning:
o Track and analyse sales performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
o Support budget planning and cost control, working alongside senior management.
o Contribute to pricing strategies and product mix optimization to enhance profitability.
o Assist with demand planning to ensure accurate sales forecasts and inventory management.
Your Profile:
* Experience in sales, account management, or business development, ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or chemical industries.
* Strong understanding of the Irish market, with a proactive and customer-oriented approach.
* Ambitious, results-driven mindset with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently while being a team player in an international environment.
* Willingness to travel across Ireland and occasionally abroad.
* Must have experience in Measurement and Control Technology / Instrumentation.
* Experience with BioPharma, Chemical and food industry and show an existing active network in this environment.
