Post Risk & Resilience Manager Quality and Compliance Department Full Time 35 hours per week Permanent Location: Flexibility around Location and Remote Working, to be Discussed at Interview Stage The IBTS is currently recruiting a full-time, permanent, Risk & Resilience Manager based in the Quality and Compliance Department.
Job Summary
The Risk and Resilience Manager is responsible for maintaining risk management, business continuity and emergency management functions of the IBTS. This role will maintain and continually improve risk management and business continuity strategies for the IBTS, working with senior management to implement these strategies.
Responsibilities
* Oversight and proactive management of the organisational risk register
* Developing and testing contingency and emergency planning as part of ongoing business development
* Providing support to senior managers and Executive Management Team during incidents
Requirements
* Education: Degree or equivalent qualification in Science, Engineering or Business/Finance
* Experience: Experience of involvement in risk management and/or business continuity and contingency planning
* Experience of working in a continuous improvement culture
* Experience in delivering complex multidisciplinary projects while communicating with authority to both internal and external stakeholders
Desirable Criteria
* Significant demonstrable experience working at management level within the field of emergency planning/business continuity preferably in the health service/pharmaceutical industry
* Broad understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements
Salary
The salary scale attached to the post is the Grade VII scale €58,254 to €75,728 (incl. LSI) pro rata per annum. Entry point onto the salary scale is dependent upon relevant experience.
