This could be an ideal move for you The role As HR Officer you will be responsible for supporting the HR Manager across all functions and ensuring all HR processes align with wider company strategies.
This role plays a key part in creating a positive working environment for all employees.
The main responsibilities Maintain up-to-date employee records in line with legal requirements to support effective communication across all departments.
Handle routine employee inquiries and provide accurate, timely information as needed.
Track and record employee absences, ensuring compliance with attendance and punctuality policies.
Participate actively in the recruitment process by drafting job descriptions and candidate profiles, creating and placing advertisements, and supporting the selection of suitable candidates.
Oversee the Apprenticeship Programme and facilitate school outreach activities in collaboration with MEGA.
Coordinate and organize training opportunities to support staff development, assist in delivering onboarding and other training sessions, and ensure all training records are kept current.
Support the resolution of grievance and disciplinary matters in alignment with company procedures.
Collaborate with supervisors and managers to help interpret and apply HR policies, procedures, and employment law changes Contribute to the creation and delivery of HR initiatives that foster employee engagement and help attract and retain talent, such as wellbeing programs, health benefits, and incentive schemes.
Work alongside the HR Manager to develop workforce strategies, addressing both short- and long-term staffing needs, skills development, and employee benefits.
Assist in rolling out performance management processes and provide guidance to supervisors on tracking progress and reviewing employee development objectives.
Partner with leaders to support continuous improvement efforts throughout the business, with a strong focus on HR-related initiatives that align with organizational goals.
Evaluate current HR policies and procedures to ensure they align with company needs, and contribute to the creation of new policies where necessary.
Keep the HR Manager updated on key developments, prepare reports for senior leadership, and provide guidance to ensure compliance with employment legislation.
Champion equality and inclusion within the workplace and ensure HR continues to positively impact the company culture.
Perform any other reasonable duties as agreed with the HR Manager or Senior Management.
