Job Purpose:
To manufacture medicines for individual patients in a highly regulated environment. This role offers an ideal opportunity to gain entry into the pharmaceutical industry.
The working hours are from 0800 to 1645, Monday to Friday. No shift work or weekends are required.
Responsibilities:
* Manufacture batches of various dosage forms.
* Complete processes in the Microsoft Dynamics ERP system.
* Maintain cleanliness of clean rooms, dedicated glassware and equipment to minimize cross-contamination of products.
* Prioritize daily tasks, manage time and resources effectively to achieve departmental objectives.
* Train staff as needed.
* Assist with responsibilities of the Assistant Production Technician and Warehouse Operator as required.
Preferred Attributes:
* A third-level education in life sciences is preferred.
* A genuine interest in pursuing a career within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is essential.
* Experience in production or commercial food preparation operations is ideally desired.
* An exceptionally high standard of attention to detail is expected.
* A flexible team player who can work proactively is required.
* A highly organized 'completer-finisher' with good prioritization skills is necessary.
* Ability to work accurately in a demanding environment while adhering to stringent deadlines is crucial.
* High levels of concentration and stamina are required due to the structured nature of this role.
* Due to potential contamination risks, adherence to good personal hygiene is mandatory (no jewelry or makeup is permitted in the manufacturing areas).
* A commitment to learning and development, including formal qualifications, with a passion to grow within the business is expected.
