About the Role
We are seeking a Food Commercial Manager to lead our food operations in Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact, shape the future of Gousto in Ireland, and be part of a rapidly scaling business.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead menu creation and execution to ensure our offering remains innovative, high-quality, and commercially optimized.
* Owning and managing weekly menu performance, utilizing key food metrics and customer insights to drive continuous improvement.
* Developing and delivering a food marketing calendar in collaboration with the local marketing team, ensuring strong customer engagement.
* Managing and delivering complex food-related projects, working closely with teams across customer, technology, and supply chain.
* Monitoring the competitive landscape and identifying opportunities to enhance our food proposition.
* Driving strategic decision-making through the development of financial models and business cases.
* Championing menu iterations and problem-solving to enhance the quality and consistency of our offerings.
* Working closely with UK-based teams including Buying, Food Technical, Marketing Tech, Data, and Planning to align strategies and initiatives.
* Supporting the General Manager for ROI as part of the wider Republic of Ireland management team.
Requirements
* A commercially minded professional with the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
* Experienced in commercial leadership within a fast-growing or new market launch environment.
* Skilled in commercial strategy, project management, and analytics, ideally within the food industry.
* A collaborative leader, able to quickly build relationships and influence key stakeholders.
* Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Passionate about food, with a keen eye for trends, quality, and customer preferences.
