The Society wishes to invite applications for the role of General Operative for the Maintenance Stores located at Lombardstown Mill.

The successful candidate will take responsibility, in line with zero harm safety mentality, in maintaining the plant, CI and 6S, process control, participate in meetings, development and improvement activities in line with business objectives of Lombardstown Mill.
Develop a strong working relationship with production staff and maintenance staff in the delivery of improvements and efficiencies.
Reporting to the Production Manager and based in Lombardstown, Mallow,Co.
Cork, responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Plan,organize andprioritize keyresourceswithintheAssetCareTeamtocreate and sustain a high-performance work team to drive overall plant performance with the Asset Care Manager and Production Manager Create daily/weekly asset care plans on IGMS and manage WeeklyPlanningMeetingfor thesite as per AMIS guidelines Assigning work to Asset Care Team with management Responsiblefortheeffective&systematicapplicationofworkplanning,work scheduling, assignmentandreporting proceduresrequired to ensurecompletion of work ResponsibleforachievingplanningKPIsensuring all relevant information is fed back into IGMS fordaily&weeklyperformancereportsin accordance with AMIS guidelines Analysisofallworkorders/requestsandcreation offollowupworkorders DriveaprogramtocontrolallSparePartsonthe IGMSCMMSsystemand partner with EES regards ordering of spares Stock management of spare parts including stock takes, inventory control with Master Data etc.
Perform 6S duties in workshop stores area including all associated building areas Work with and control of Contactors General hygiene and cleaning duties.
Adherence to Quality and safety standards on site.
Any other adhoc duties as requested.
Candidates for this position should have: Ability to work well and contribute in a cross functional and changing environment.
Forklift / Loader driving and or yard/ warehousing experience is desirable.
Relevant experience in a food manufacturing/Milling facility is essential.
Proficient IT literacy skills.
Working knowledge of control based systems.
Strong customer focus, be well organised and efficient.
Strong attention to detail and concern for standards with a keen results orientation.
Well-developed interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work in teams and to relate to colleagues and managers alike.
Self-motivated individual who will be flexible when the occasion demands.
Show resilience and be capable of dealing with pressurised situations.
