Job Summary:
The Building Services Engineer deals with all aspects of Building Services to provide a responsive, quality and efficient service to residents.
Agile working with access to the Dublin office.
Valid driving licence and use of a car for business purposes is required.
CORE DUTIES Mechanical & Electrical Provide technical guidance and specification on heating systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, drainage systems and other M&E services as required.
Assist with diagnosing faults and recommend suitable repairs on M&E systems.
Manage M&E works programmes and costs.
Management of Planned, Cyclical and Reactive Servicing & Maintenance Undertake pre & post inspections of repair, service and maintenance work and producing detailed and accurate reports.
Undertaking management of service contracts of M&E repairs and upgrades.
Assist with the management of planned and cyclical maintenance programmes using a Building Asset Database.
General Collaborate with internal teams on property, compliance and regulatory matters.
Liaising with OMC's, Local Authorities, Residents and other stake holders.
PERSON SPECIFICATION Qualifications and Experience:
Suitable candidates will have a 3rd level qualification (Level 6 NFQ or above) in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
Or Plumbing/Electrical trade with 5 years minimum post qualification experience.
Full clean Driving License.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
A strong understanding Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing.
Experience in diagnosing and managing repairs to domestic buildings.
Familiar with Technical Guidance Documents, building compliance and Irish Standards.
A sound knowledge of contract management and working to procurement regulations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High level of skills on Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
