DescriptionThe Digital Content Specialist will oversee and execute content that is engaging, informative and optimised for search engines across our portfolio of websites (dublinairport.com, corkairport.com, daa.ie and daa-international.com), to deliver the best possible experience to passengers and key stakeholders, whilst supporting business goals, increasing traffic and site visitor engagement.Responsibilities
Manage the creation, editing, and publishing of high-quality website content, including text, images, videos, and infographics across multiple content management systems (Contentful, Sitefinity and Word Press).
Manage and optimisation of webchat FAQs and interactive map content for our passenger audiences.
Work with designers, copy writers and our development team to ensure content is optimised to meet business goals, accessibility, and user engagement.
Perform regular audits of content to ensure its relevance, accuracy, that it meets brand and tone of voice guidelines as well as the latest best practice in SEO.
Monitor analytics to assess the effectiveness of content and implement improvements based on data insights.
Lead content-related projects, ensuring deadlines and goals are met.
Stay up to date on website content trends and SEO best practices.
Work closely with internal stakeholders, across a complex organisation structure.
Build excellent relationships and ways of working within a large cross-functional team.
The role will also support other digital projects as required.
Qualifications
3-4 years experience, in a similar Digital Content Specialist role.
Experienced at working with content management systems (particularly Contentful or similar.).
Strong understanding of SEO best practices and how to apply.
Experience with website analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) to measure content performance and derive insights.
Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a high attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team.
Keeps knowledge current, understand emerging trends and technologies and applies as applicable.
A third-level qualification is ideally preferred in Marketing and/or Digital Marketing or a related field.
