Job Description
As a Quantity Surveyor seeking to gain professional membership, they fully support personal and professional progression.
You'll have the opportunity to work across a varied range of building projects across the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered within budget, and contributing to the overall success of the projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain comprehensive cost plans and budget estimates
* Lead value engineering exercises, identifying both risks and opportunities for savings
* Review and evaluate tenders, ensuring alignment with project goals and specifications
* Assess interim valuations and manage negotiations around project variations
* Provide expert cost reporting and ensure smooth settlement of final accounts
* Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related field
Membership with SCSI / RICS (or working towards professional membership) is highly desired
3+ years experience within a cost consultancy or developer environment (desired)
