This is a Specified Purpose post for 3 months. The Electronic Engineering & Communications Technician will be part of a small team of professionals responsible for the development, implementation, configuration and support of undergraduate programmes in the areas of Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Robotics and Automation Systems, Communications Systems, and also support of research in the EngCORE research group. The job requires an energetic, enthusiastic person with excellent customer relations management skills as well as a broad-based knowledge of electronic engineering systems and technologies.
Essential Criteria:
1. A Level 7 Degree in Electronic Engineering or other relevant degree
2. A minimum of 1 year’s relevant post qualification work experience
Desirable Criteria:
1. A relevant Honours Degree (first or second class) or equivalent professional qualification
Salary Scale: €36,919 - €52,747
