Brightwater are seeking a Trainee Accountant to join the Finance team within an international insurance company in Dublin city centre.
This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will be involved in a variety of accounting tasks, including financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements
* Manage client relationships and resolve queries
* Conduct variance analysis and explain financial results
* Ensure timely settlement of transactions
* Prepare management reports and reconcile accounts
* Adhere to internal controls and assist with audits
What You Bring:
* Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
* 1-2 years experience in an accounting role preferred.
* Experience within the insurance or financial services industry highly desired.
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and a working knowledge of SAP (beneficial)
