Store/Warehouse Operative - Dairy Location: Aurivo Dairy Ingredients, Ballaghaderreen, Co.
Roscommon Permanent Contract Aurivo is a large multi-purpose co-operative engaged in a wide range of activities including dairy processing, liquid milk distribution, animal feed milling, retail stores, garden centres, livestock marketing as well as sports nutrition It employs over 650 people directly and provides jobs for many others in transport, distribution and services.

Reporting to a Site Manager in the Aurivo Dairy Ingredients Plant successful candidate will work as part of a team to ensure general warehouse operative duties are carried out to meet quality, safe practices and site hygiene standards.
Ensure the store is kept clean and organised.
Working hours pattern:
Monday to Friday and one weekend day 8am -4pm.
Alternative weekend day Saturday /Sunday.
These working hours are subject to change depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate fork trucks - counterbalance, reach, aisle master.
Dispatch finished product onto curtain siders, containers and refrigerated containers.
Complete dispatch documentation according to pick lists.
Ensure all products are dispatched to the required food quality standards.
Receiving and dispatching pallets via warehouse management system using handheld scanners and software.
Complete documentation checks for incoming raw ingredients, packaging, and consumables.
Transferring pallets from loading bay into relevant rooms, locations and preparing packaging and ingredients for production usage as per planned production schedules.
Following all relevant SOP's Always adhering to the companies HACCP plan and food safety requirements.
Working in a safe manner and adhering to all company Health and safety policies and procedures Work to agreed schedules with line manager.
Maintain warehouses and storage areas in a hygienic clean and safe condition - 5S and Lean, complete all records daily.
Ensuring all waste packaging and material is disposed according to the company's recycling policy.
Manage ingredients, packaging and finished products, so that there is full traceability, stock rotation and all documentation is completed appropriately.
Prepare all packaging as per production schedules.
Ensure adequate stocks of raw materials is available to production.
Monitoring fork truck mechanical and maintain hygiene standards on trucks.
The ideal candidate will have:
Competence and experienced forklift driver with valid licences required.
Ailse master licence preferable but not essential as training will be provided.
High attention to detail is required.
Ability to work with others as part of the team.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
