This is a dual-role opportunity for a highly motivated Digital Business Development & Project Manager. You will be instrumental in driving digital growth by identifying, securing, and managing new client projects. This role requires a blend of strategic sales acumen and hands-on project management expertise, with a split between business development and project delivery. You will report to the Head of Client Services and collaborate closely with the web development and design teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
1. Lead Generation & Acquisition:
2. Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities in the digital space, focusing on eCommerce, business websites, and landing pages.
3. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
4. Develop and execute targeted digital sales and marketing strategies to generate qualified leads.
5. Network effectively to build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
6. Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact and proposal development to closing deals.
7. Track and report on sales performance, ensuring targets are consistently met.
Market Analysis & Strategy:
1. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
2. Develop a deep understanding of clients' business goals and digital strategies.
3. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
Project Management:
1. Client Onboarding & Project Delivery:
2. Manage new client projects from initial briefing to final execution.
3. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
4. Act as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication.
5. Translate client requirements into actionable briefs for the web development and design teams.
6. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
7. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
8. Manage client expectations and maintain high levels of satisfaction.
9. Use data and insights to inform project decisions and drive improvements.
Client Relationship Management:
1. Maintain strong client relationships throughout project lifecycles.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital business development, ideally within a digital agency or related field.
2. Proven track record of success in winning web development projects and driving revenue growth.
3. Solid understanding of web design and development processes.
4. Proficiency in analytics and eCommerce platforms.
5. Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing.
6. Proven experience in leading website projects from inception to launch.
7. Excellent presentation and client reporting skills.
8. Familiarity with project management tools and financial reporting.
9. Experience with design briefs and UI/UX processes.
10. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
11. Data-driven approach with proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
12. Fluent English speaking.
13. Strong understanding of the Irish market.
Desirable:
1. Experience with CRM software.
2. Previous experience in a digital agency, SaaS, or technology-driven environment.
