Job Description
The Clerk of Works will be responsible for ensuring that all construction work on site is carried out in accordance with the project's specifications, drawings, and practices. This includes:
* Regularly checking completed works and works in progress to ensure compliance with project plans and requirements
* Ensuring Health and Safety drawings/specifications and practices are adhered to at all times
* Measuring and visually sampling building materials to check their quality and ensure they meet project Works Requirements
The Clerk of Works will also be responsible for coordinating inspections with the client's technical team and maintaining a daily site diary of all activities on site.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should have:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a construction-based role, preferably as a Foreman, Site Engineer, Site Manager, Clerk of Works, or Resident Architect/Resident Engineer
* Practical IT skills and the ability to use various software packages to accurately record data
This is an ideal role for experienced candidates with a wide degree of construction knowledge.
