Your New Role
This position involves managing the HR documentation, contracts, and policies. Key responsibilities include advising management on personnel matters, conducting grievance and disciplinary investigations, and facilitating recruitment processes. You will be responsible for maintaining the HR system, ensuring employee information is up-to-date, and working closely with management to develop and implement processes and procedures. Additionally, you will draft monthly HR reports, provide weekly payroll imports, and create an employee training and development plan. Finally, you will collaborate with production and training managers to facilitate health and safety meetings and associated reports.
Requirements for Success
To excel in this role, you will need at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting and a third-level qualification. CIPD membership is desirable but not essential. You should possess strong administration skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, HR systems). Maintaining confidentiality is crucial, and you will need to build relationships with all levels within the company. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
