You will be expected to provide expert legal advice, prepare legal briefs, manage client relationships, contribute to business development opportunities, negotiate effectively for clients, and maintain high standards of practice management.
Your ability to formulate strong legal arguments using your analytical and research skills will be crucial in this role.
Provide clear, concise and expert legal advice to guide clients by identifying key legal issues, available options and associated legal risksPrepare legal briefs and provide strategic oversight of commercial disputesManage client relationships actively and contribute proactively to business development opportunitiesUse analytical and research skills to formulate legal arguments and identify evidence in support of clients' positionsNegotiate effectively to achieve client objectivesImplement high standards of practice management including time recording, billing and documentation managementWhat you bring: The ideal candidate for the Senior Associate position will bring a wealth of experience from their previous roles.
With at least 4 years of post-qualification experience under your belt, you are well-versed in the intricacies of planning and environmental law.
Your excellent drafting skills coupled with your extensive knowledge of case law make you an asset to any team.
Your ability to work collaboratively, take direction, demonstrate leadership, and maintain a strategic focus sets you apart from others.
Lastly, your commercial mindset allows you to understand and cater to business needs effectively.
