The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, creative, and dynamic Director of Brand & Content Marketing to elevate our brand awareness, strengthen our reputation, and solidify our position as an industry leader, driving the next phase of our ambitious growth.
Are you passionate about shaping the voice and presence of a global brand? Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and innovate. You will craft strategies that amplify awareness and deepen understanding of our company among key audiences, build a dynamic content marketing engine that establishes us as a leader in international ecommerce, and champion internal brand alignment.
Additionally, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our brand and content initiatives are seamlessly integrated into our ambitious global growth strategy.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with leadership, vendors, and stakeholders to increase awareness of ESW among global brands, partners, analysts, and investors.
Create a content marketing strategy that establishes ESW as a leader in international ecommerce across channels like blogs, webinars, reports, and videos.
Direct PR strategy, coordinate messaging with US and European PR firms, track impact, and provide updates to senior leadership.
Develop a roster of executives and experts to represent ESW in media and speaking engagements.
Lead social media strategy to maximize engagement on platforms like LinkedIn, managing a consistent and compelling content calendar.
Ensure the corporate website is optimise for SEO, performance, and brand consistency.
Manage a creative marketing team and oversee vendor relationships, including branding and PR agencies.
Align messaging and activities with the brand strategy by working with field marketing, product marketing, demand gen, and HR teams.
Partner with HR to develop and implement an employer brand strategy.
Foster a culture of data-driven measurement to show the impact of branding and content activities.
Collaborate with VP or Marketing and Ops leads on measuring brand metrics and reporting on the success of brand and content initiatives.
Requirements
10+ years of expertise in branding or content marketing, with a track record of strategic ownership and increasing responsibility.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, journalism, design, or a related field required.
Creative thinker and storyteller who excels at simplifying complex concepts into clear, compelling messages.
Proven leader with experience mentoring and encouraging creative teams to deliver their best work.
Skilled in managing vendor relationships to enhance impact and ROI while fostering trust with internal and external customers.
Highly organised, efficient, and skilled in managing multiple priorities.
Outstanding communicator with persuasive written and verbal skills, capable of inspiring executives, peers, and teams to act.
Deep knowledge of content marketing, PR, social media, SEO, and branding trends, with a commitment to staying ahead of industry changes.
Proficient in English with native-level proficiency in written and spoken communication.
Willing to travel occasionally for regional and international assignments.
