An Account Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of an account, driving creative strategies for clients, effectively managing tasks, and delegating to team members. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent communication and time management skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage competing priorities in a busy environment including, but not limited to, client relationship management, driving client calls, planning news announcements, end-of-month reporting, and strategy execution, and managing multiple stakeholders, e.g. IR, investors, etc.
2. Leverage established relationships with journalists to drive coverage and opportunities for clients.
3. Use a creative and ideas-focused approach with a strategic mindset to consistently over-deliver for clients.
KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
1. 3+ Years of Communications experience.
2. Agency experience.
3. Strong written and communication skills.
4. Have an interest in and solid understanding of the tech topics of today, from AI to sustainability to blockchain.
5. Adaptability and a willingness to learn.
6. Fluent in English with a strong and confident presentation style.
Skills:
1. A team player with strong leadership qualities and a proven ability to delegate and manage a team.
2. Experience in securing top-tier media coverage across broadcast, print, and online media including -- but not limited to -- Bloomberg, Fortune, Wall Street Journal, NYT, CNN, CNBC, TechCrunch, RTE, The Irish Times, The Irish Independent, as well as industry trade publications.
3. Adaptability and a willingness to learn.
