Job Description
Hovione, a leading Contract Development and Manufacturing Company, is seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Controller. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for supporting business processes, preparing budgets, and analyzing financial data.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Serve as a business partner to finance and the business, defining and implementing processes to assess performance, identify drivers, and optimize operations.
* Prepare, monitor, and control the annual departmental budget to ensure expenditure aligns with the company's business plan.
* Administer all departmental financial and operational information in appropriate systems.
* Develop and monitor business performance metrics for the department, acting as a strategic partner to managers and directors.
* Execute complex reports on operational and financial KPIs, as requested by managers and directors.
* Conduct forecasts using financial and operational information.
* Support project managers within the department, analyzing project costs to ensure compliance.
* Conduct specific analysis related to the department, improving data reporting and analysis.
* Provide financial and accounting advice to directors and managers within the department.
* Maintain expertise in controlling processes and tools.
* Manage complex projects/analysis with significant business impact.
* Make timely decisions based on multiple sources of data.
* Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring goals are met.
* Adhere to GMP and HSE guidelines, internal and external requirements, and promote the implementation and maintenance of Hovione's policies, systems, and procedures.
Requirements:
* University or equivalent qualification in Finance, Business Administration, or similar field (mandatory).
* Typically requires 5-8 years of relevant experience as a controller or financial auditor.
* Experience in applying IFRSs.
* Advanced knowledge of finance and accounting with the ability to solve complex problems.
* Proficiency in reporting tools.
* Knowledge of corporate governance.
* Fluency in English (requirement).
* Computer literate with good working knowledge of MS Office.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
