Key Responsibilities
* Create purchase requisitions to meet production needs
* Request quotations from suppliers and negotiate prices
* Manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of materials
* Run weekly reports to identify potential rescheduling or cancellation of orders
* Pursue suppliers for on-time delivery and request early delivery when necessary
* Review supplier performance in regular meetings
* Evaluate delivery performance on a weekly basis
* Organize shipments and collections from suppliers
* Ensure planning department schedules production orders efficiently
Requirements:
* At least 2-3 years' experience in purchasing role
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Experience in manufacturing environment is desirable
* Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is beneficial
* Strong communication skills for effective liaison with production and suppliers
