Mechanical Design Engineer
Tegan Innovations are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about mechanical engineering, with a strong background in designing and developing mechanical systems and components.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing all aspects of projects from conception through to final installation.
* Writing Technical Proposals and costing for customers.
* Creating mechanical designs and detailed drawings utilizing SolidWorks modelling software.
* Working with electrical and control engineers as required in the machine design.
* Designing HMI screens and flow diagrams for machine control.
* Carrying out Risk Analysis of machines to ensure CE compliance.
* Completing documentation to meet GAMP requirements.
* Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products.
* Planning, conceptualizing, and creating mechanical designs for new products.
* Developing testing processes, and performing testing and validation of new designs.
* Generating working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration.
* Creating and reviewing technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software.
* Producing detailed documentation to track project development and design process.
Competence Requirements:
* Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar (SolidWorks preferred).
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* 5 years of experience working in an engineering environment.

* Self-Motivated with a desire to pursue further learning to improve your existing skill set.
* Project management - strict adherence to deadlines and the ability to work within a budget.
* An extremely high level of IT skill.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €40,000.00 - €65,000.00 per year
