Introduction: As an IT Manager in ACE Money Transfer Limited Ireland, your primary responsibility will be to manage and oversee the outsourced IT functions. You will be the key point of contact between the company and its IT service providers, ensuring that all IT operations are executed efficiently and aligned with the company's strategic objectives. Additionally, you will be responsible for presenting IT status reports and updates to the Board of Directors, providing insights into the IT performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. This role requires a deep understanding of emerging technologies, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in delivering innovative and scalable technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Vendor Management:Manage relationships with external IT vendors, ensuring they meet their contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs).Coordinate with vendors to resolve any issues, manage escalations, and ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.Evaluate services availability and performance regularly and provide feedback to ensure alignment with company goals.IT Strategy and Planning:Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement IT strategies that support the company's business objectives.Ensure that outsourced IT services align with the company's goals, focusing on scalability, security, and innovation.Participate in budget planning and management for outsourced IT services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money.Reporting and Communication:Prepare and present detailed IT status reports, including performance metrics, risk assessments, and project updates, to the Board of Directors.Communicate IT-related issues, initiatives, and opportunities to senior management in a clear and concise manner.Provide regular updates on the progress of IT projects, vendor performance, and any potential risks or challenges.Compliance and Security:Ensure that all outsourced IT services comply with industry regulations and standards, including ISO-27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and other relevant frameworks.Work with vendors to implement robust cybersecurity measures, protecting company data and digital assets.Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure the effectiveness of security protocols and compliance with regulatory requirements.Prepare and Submit Monthly / Quarterly reports to financial authorities.Risk Management:Identify and manage risks associated with outsourced IT functions, ensuring that contingency plans are in place.Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning with vendors to minimize downtime and ensure business resilience.Monitor the performance and security of IT systems to detect and mitigate potential threats or vulnerabilities.Project Management:Oversee the delivery of IT projects managed by vendors, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful project execution and alignment with business needs.Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer from vendors to internal stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA is a plus.Proven experience (5+ years) in IT management, preferably in a fintech or financial services environment.Strong experience in vendor management and outsourcing, with a focus on IT services.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Knowledge of regulatory standards such as ISO-27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and cybersecurity best practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CISSP will add plus points.
