Position: Corporate Actions Analyst
Language: French/German/Swedish/Norwegian
Contract type: Permanent Contract
Location: Citywest Dublin 24 – Currently Work From Home, Hybrid model after (3 days in office, 2 at home)
Working Hours: Mon-Fri (9am-6pm) – 40 hours / week
Salary: €31,000 base +€3,500 + 5% bonus paid quarterly
The Role:
We are responsible for managing, interpreting, enhancing and reporting corporate events content for equity markets and other asset classes including funds. With market complexity increasing, managing our corporate events in the timeliest and most accurate manner while delivering key insights to our clients stands as a top priority. Leveraging deep product knowledge, strong client relationships and interactions, and innovative thinking we are constantly striving to develop the best-in-class Corporate Events product.
Our team covers all equity-related corporate events including distributions, M&A activity, equity changes, and meetings.

You’re just the sort of person we are looking for to join our Corporate Events team in Global Data.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for mandatory and voluntary corporate actions (Rights Issues, Stock Splits, Mergers and Takeovers, etc.) Sourcing local media for Corporate Actions via CSDs, paying agents, national financial newspapers, companies and stock exchanges.
2. Announcing and updating corporate actions (dividends, rights issues, bonus issues, DRIPS, SCRIPS, name changes, takeovers and mergers, etc.).
3. Responsible for events creation (Cash Stock Options, DRIPs, Rights Issues, Stock Splits, Mergers and Takeovers, etc.).
4. Operate with custodian’s banks, transfer agents, brokers/dealers, business partners, and clients. Ex-1 Cash Dividends rates updating on funds.
5. Manage high pressure, time sensitive and confidential (non-public) information.
6. Responsible for mandatory corporate actions and Cash Stock Options.
7. Sourcing local media for Corporate Actions via web sources, national financial newspapers, companies and stock exchanges.
Essential Criteria:
1. Level 6 qualification in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Economics or equivalent work experience.
2. Fluency in English and required language (C1 capability necessary).
3. Strong interpersonal and client relationship building abilities.
4. Self-starter, entrepreneurial skills.
5. Solid project management skills and prior experience of executing on complex projects under strict timelines.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly client management.
Desirable Criteria:
1. Prior experience or strong knowledge and understanding of corporate finance.
2. Keen interest in information management and technology and product development.
3. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced changing environment.
4. A background in equity markets with additional knowledge of corporate events (M&A, distributions, etc.) would also be an advantage.
