Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to lead the maintenance programme at their Ashbourne, Co. Meath facility. This is a key role reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, responsible for ensuring world-class maintenance and reliability across production systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and schedule maintenance activities to maximise uptime and efficiency.
* Oversee a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring objectives and expectations are met.
* Utilise CMMS (Maximo) to optimise maintenance processes and reporting.
* Drive improvements in maintenance effectiveness, including preventive strategies, parts inventory management, and data analysis.
* Manage contractors and ensure all external work is completed to the required standards.
* Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations and quality standards.
* Analyse maintenance metrics to reduce costs and enhance reliability.
What You Need:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a maintenance planning/scheduling role within an industrial setting.
* Strong knowledge of CMMS systems, production maintenance, and site facilities management.
* Third-level qualification in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or equivalent training.
* Proven experience leading teams and driving maintenance performance.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
* Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
