Your Role
This role is to provide support to the Head of Performance Marketing; to develop and implement performance strategy to maximise customer acquisition and retention. This post requires the digital expertise & analytical mind-set of a commercially driven & consumer focused digital marketing professional. The successful candidate must hold a thorough understanding of end to end digital consumer channels & buying behaviors with experience in a fast-growing trading environment.
Supporting the Performance Marketing team, working closely with our Data and Insights Analyst, this role will have an in-depth knowledge of how our digital channels are performing at a granular level.
Working closely with our media agencies to apply a test and learn optimisation approach, this digital marketeer will ensure that all digital channels are working efficiently through the sales funnel and are optimised and balanced to ensure maximum effectiveness. This includes search, display, video, social media, affiliates and meta search partners.
As a Performance Marketing Lead, Your Responsibilities Will Include:
1. Performance Analysis: Analysing all digital marketing campaigns, website performance, & digital channels to measure departmental KPIs. Develop and assist with the execution of performance-based campaigns that deliver results.
2. Strategy Development: Supporting Head of Performance Marketing; to develop & implement a digital marketing performance strategy that will deliver commercial objectives & achieve revenue targets.
3. Cross Team Collaboration: Closely align with Global Marketing Operations lead & Growth Strategist to continuously monitor areas of opportunity & performance improvement to drive sustainable growth for Aer Lingus.
4. Data Analysis and Insights: Work closely with Data & Insights Analyst to collect and analyse data to gain insights into customer behaviour, market trends, & campaign effectiveness. Utilise these insights to drive data-based decision-making & optimisation.
5. Campaign Oversight: Assist with the planning, execution, & management of digital marketing campaigns across various channels. Optimizing campaigns for maximum performance & ROI.
6. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Support: Along with our Inhouse CRO Team – work to identify opportunities to improve conversion rates & user experience on digital platforms. Conducting user journey analysis, & supporting with CRO strategies to enhance website usability, landing page effectiveness, & overall conversion performance.
7. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams such as Brand, Campaigns, Digital etc as well as external partners to co-ordinate efforts & ensure alignment, effective communication, & successful execution of digital marketing initiatives.
8. Performance Reporting: Generating regular reports on key performance metrics, digital marketing performance, & trends. Presenting findings, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimisation & improvement.
Your Qualifications And Key Criteria:
1. Industry Trends and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in digital marketing. Identifying new opportunities and innovative strategies to enhance digital performance, drive competitive advantage, and support the delivery of exceptional user experiences.
We are looking for an individual with experience / qualifications in the following areas:
1. Degree or equivalent in Digital Marketing or a related discipline.
2. 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing management and brand growth and leading a team to achieve defined targets.
3. Experience working with internal teams and media agencies to deliver against performance metrics.
4. Technical understanding of the multiple digital marketing channels.
5. Experience using Google Analytics.
6. Digital innovation and consumer marketing experience with responsibility for revenue targets.
7. Designing, operating and interpreting consumer research campaigns and insights.
8. Interpretation of online analytics and large data volumes to generate customer insights to increase traffic and conversion rates.
9. Excellent communicator who presents a credible, commercially aware position to key stakeholders and has excellent people management skills.
10. Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong attention to detail.
11. Excellent punctuality and attendance record.
12. Be in possession or be able to pass a strict airport security vetting procedure which includes a 5-year background check.
13. Eligible to live and work in the EU.
14. Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport.
