Procurement Manager Role
Avista is a progressive organisation providing disability support services to children and adults in various locations across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage the Service's Procurement section to provide an excellent service to Avista Support Services and its stakeholders.
* Conduct procurement activities in line with legislation and regulations governing public procurement and in support of business objectives while securing value for money.
Requirements
* Qualification of level 8 or minimum 5 years' experience in public procurement management role.
* Full Clean Driving License.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
* A minimum of five years' experience in both public and private sector operating in a commercial, purchasing and/or procurement capacity.
* Public Procurement & Official Journal of the European Community (OJEU) tendering experience.
* CIPS or a specific PP qualification would be advantageous.
* Expertise in Data Analytics/Informatics.
* Excellent knowledge of Data Protection and forthcoming GDPR Legislation.
