Work Location: 3 days in Naas based office, 2 days remote
Pay: €35-€40 Per Hour Rate negotiable depending on level of experience

Our Client is one of Ireland's leading EPCm consultancies with offices in Dublin and Cork.
A HSE Manager is required for a transport client with offices based in Naas to develop the design construction, testing and commissioning training and compliance works on transport projects.
Requirements
Required to have 7+ years’ relevant experience leading and embedding health and safety practices into highly complex, large engineering capital delivery projects/programmes with 5+ years’ experience carrying out health and safety activities across the project lifecycle through to completion on high value road and/or infrastructure projects in a live urban environment or projects of a similar scale and complexity to CBCIW.
Further demonstrated experience and knowledge in the following is desirable:
1. Working with Irish Government Regulation governing construction health and safety including the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013;
2. Driving best practice in technical activities, processes, policies and standards;
3. The design and delivery requirements of technically complex projects in the architectural, engineering or construction sectors;
4. Dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of processes and providing guidance to support project delivery and reporting;
5. Developing and maintaining health and safety management Systems, Safe T Cert, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001;
6. Contract documents, forms of contract and specifications;
7. Developing health, safety and welfare strategies and setting programme-wide health, safety and welfare performance indicators;
8. Managing high-performing staff/teams including carrying out performance management, undertaking resource planning and embedding a focus on continuous improvement and best-practice;
9. Delivering within safety critical and regulated environments, particularly within live, urban environments.
It is desirable for the Health and Safety Manager to possess the following skills:
1. Ability to manage multiple technical requirements and teams within a construction environment;
2. Fully proficient in the use of MS Office applications and other project tools and methodologies;
3. Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills;
4. Ability to create a collaborative culture across the project team;
5. Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high quality service delivery;
6. Ability to deal with and resolve unforeseen risks and issues;
7. Excellent stakeholder negotiation and management skills;
8. Strong team leadership skills with an ability to influence to drive effective design decision making;
9. Ability to step back from the detail and take a holistic overview;
10. Ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and deliver consistent service;
11. High level of attention to detail;
12. Ability to manage client expectations and deliver within agreed parameters;
13. Ability to work in a challenging environment both on their own initiative and as part of a team.
