Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance professional to provide support to the Operations Director, CFO, and Accounts Team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of accountancy experience, preferably in the construction sector, and hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
Main Responsibilities:
* Disseminate financial information to all departments and senior management.
* Manage and maintain the integrity of accounting software and contribute to its future development.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and compile monthly reports for the senior management team.
* Contribute to the development and management of financial systems/policies.
* Analyse cost and revenues, ensuring the integrity of financial information.
* E nsure Revenue compliance across all aspects of the business.
* Contribute to the facilitation of the annual audit.
* Develop expertise and provide support relating to specific construction finance issues.
* Support the payroll function.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years accountancy experience, ideally within the construction sector.
* Professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
* Proficiency in IT (MS Excel, Accounting Software).
* Strong organisational skills including the ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks.
* Team player with the ability to take direction but also work on own initiative where appropriate.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
