Our client, a well-established Engineering Technology company based in Dublin 22, is seeking to recruit a Communications Specialist to join their team and report to the Head of Marketing.
The ideal candidate would come from a Construction background. As a Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting and managing content that engages employees and external audiences.
About the Role
You will work closely with the Marketing & Internal Communications Manager to develop compelling messaging, oversee internal employee engagement, and ensure communications are clear, effective, and aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Write, edit, and manage internal communications across multiple platforms.
* Develop engaging content for social media, internal campaigns, and external communications.
* Maintain a structured content calendar to plan and schedule messaging effectively.
* Archive and organise communication materials for easy accessibility.
* Manage submission processes for internal engagement and communication platforms.
* Track and analyse internal communication performance to refine strategies.
* Conduct research to support content creation and planning.
Requirements
* Degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
* 1-3 years of experience in communications, marketing, or content creation.
* Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
* Basic photo editing skills and a creative mindset.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
* An inclusive and thoughtful approach to communication.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Experience creating content for email, blogs, social media, and internal communication platforms.
* Familiarity with analytics tools to measure content performance.
