Job Title: Accounts Assistant
About the Role
Park Recruit are partnering with a respected client in the Mid Ulster area to fill an experienced Accounts Assistant position.
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to oversee the creation and processing of invoices while handling customer queries within the accounts department.
This role requires efficiency and accuracy in tracking invoices, maintaining efficient financial records, and providing reliable administrative support to the business unit as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate and process customer invoices based on fixed-price jobs, hourly rates, and material usage.
* Request order numbers for completed work.
* Communicate with customers regarding invoice-related queries and liaise with Contract Managers as necessary.
* Maintain and monitor submitted and Work-in-Progress (WIP) invoices using Sage 200.
Requirements
* Experience with Sage 200 or a similar accounting system is preferred but not essential.
* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in data entry and record-keeping.
* General administrative experience gained within a busy construction, manufacturing, or engineering environment is desirable.

Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8am - 5pm.
Friday: Finish at 4pm. Reduced hours may be available for suitable candidates.
