Join a forward-thinking Community Mental Health team as we seek an Occupational Therapist to make a positive impact in the lives of children and families.
About the Role
We are looking for a self-motivated and compassionate Staff or Senior Grade Occupational Therapist to lead our multidisciplinary team in delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children with severe/complex mental health needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in mental health, preferably in a community setting, and be registered on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by CORU.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Lead on planning and managing the delivery of an optimum service, ensuring effective and resourceful management of resources.
* Provide Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to children within a designated clinical and geographical area, using occupationally focussed evidence-based assessment and skills.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent outcomes for service users.

Requirements
* Registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by CORU.
* Experience working in mental health, preferably in a community setting (placement experience is satisfactory).
